Sparda - Legendary Dark Knight

Back in 2012, this originally started as a speedpaint exercise while at work, I decided to bring it back home to finish it up. Took more than 12 hours to make the b/w values work, and yet only 30 mins to colour. I still don't know what sorcery I just did...

What I DO know --- for YEARS I've always wanted to draw a proper Sparda (either classic, or DT mode), but my knowledge/skills were quite nearly non-existent back then. The passion continues to burn though - and years later, I finally achieved what I had always wanted to do.

It's still not perfect, but this is about as close as I can get to giving the LDK the tribute I've always wanted to give all these years - doing what a loyal fan should have done, returning the favor to the series that had rescued me from many many years back then. Now I've paid my dues, this year, this day. And I've never felt more glad.

This, is for Sparda.
